A Midsummer Ice Cream

They like ice cream!

Summer's been spent on the hill.....

...and hanging about at home.

It's Summer!

It's summertime, let us out!

Bailey's getting old so most of the fast action is up to Deva.

But sometimes he's still motivated to chase someone down.

He's earned his slow relaxing days.

And the treats.

Of course summer means lying in the sun.

Yes, it's a dog bed but do you really want us to use it....

....when yours is so much nicer!?

Due to a very busy work schedule and involvement in an important project, we haven't been able to post lately but we'll be back more often now.

Early Spring on The Hill

It's been a mostly mild winter and spring seems just around the corner.

They meet a new friend who's willing to play, an energetic 2 year old rescue from Mexico named Touch.

The power of a whippet!  Bailey shows that at 11-1/2 years old he can still catch a "regular" dog who's much younger.

Of course they must get their beauty rest afterward.

Just Being Whippets

Winter of 2016 has been relatively mild...

...and the whippets make the most of it.

They also make the most of their rest time.

Happy Holidays from Bailey & Deva

Dragging that banner around was hard work!  Time to rest....

Like The Old Days

Now that he's 11 years old, Bailey doesn't tear around like he used to.  But on this day he decided to play the chase game with Deva, showing that he's still got some moves.

Once back home they both need to rest and recharge.

A Gentle Autumn

It's been a mild October and the whippets are enjoying their time outside.

The wolf willow shrub, also known as silver berry, has very fragrant flowers, and produce seeds that have been used for necklaces.  Bailey and Deva have decided that the seeds are nice snacks.

This medicine wheel is in the shape of the Siksikaitsitapi logo and is meant to be an offering site where visitors can make a small offering to the creator and be blessed.

Home is blessed by the presence of Bailey and Deva.
