Waiting Out the Weather

What do whippets do when it's -28c with a windchill of -stupid?

Beg for a treat...

consume the treat...

crash on the couch...

get into the warm cave bed...

meld with the furniture...

roach out in boredom...

really get into the warm cave bed...

snooze on the couch...

wait wistfully by the window....

really really get into the warm cave bed...

sneak a snooze on the people bed...

...try hibernation.

Yeah, that sounds about right for here too! Love the picture that looks like the doggie is being swallowed by the bed.

Haha! That is absolutely correct! Now, I just need to find a cave to dig into...

Poor Deva & Bailey! Elsie wouldn't even go out when it was -5 here in Victoria! It is amazing how much they can sleep when the days are dark and cold.

BTW, is Deva's face getting whiter or is it the light that makes it look that way? She looks quite a bit lighter than the pic on your blog header.

Stay warm!!

Thanks for all your comments. Robin, Deva's face has gotten lighter since the photo on the header. That was when she was a puppy, now that she's 3 yrs old, her face got a lot lighter.

My 3 year old whippet is a dark brindle as well. Her snout has definitely lightened up, but she has a black nose still. I love to see my girl's mom and know that I will get to watch those white hairs slowly creep up her face!
