A New Bed

Even though their XL cave bed will comfortably fit 4 whippets, they sometimes want a bed to themselves.  So to continue the theme of spoiling them, the household acquires a 2nd L sized cave bed.  It takes Bailey less than a minute to try it out.

Deva decides that she likes it too.

Yep, they both fit.

After all that resting, it's time for a run.

Time for the chase game!

Deva challenges the old guy to catch her.

Caught!  Even though he'll be 10 in October, Bailey can still turn on the jets.

All that exercise requires resting in the big bed.

Season's Greetings?

A winter wonderland greeted us this morning.

An enjoyable romp in the snow!

Good to be Home

Over 6 months ago the neighbour started his house on fire (careless smoking) and severely damaged our house as well.  We had to leave while extensive repairs were made, and we're finally home again.  Here Bailey and Deva enjoy their cave bed on our new acacia hardwood floor.

A new people bed got delivered, and within 30 seconds the whippets staked their claim.

Ditto the new couch.

Bailey's favourite red chair came back cleaned.

Waiting for the new deck to be built.

Meanwhile there's fun to be had on The Hill.

A sure sign of spring, the prairie crocus.

There was a lot of snow this winter, the pond on The Hill is nice and big.

Happy to be home.
