| The heavy rains and unprecedented flooding have abated, giving Southern Alberta a chance to assess damage and begin the recovery process. We are fortunate to live next to The Hill at higher elevation and were not affected, but the whippets were lonely for a while as I joined the thousands of fellow volunteers to help with some of the clean-up and support. |

| Bailey will be 9 in October and has slowed down in the last year, but on this day he showed his old form and raced around to bring in the summer. |
