Bailey illustrates another favourite whippet activity.
Just another day of having fun in the sun.
From a decade ago, a young Breezer blasts by some astonished bystanders.
A big difference the years have made is that most people seem to be familiar enough with whippets to identify Bailey correctly, or ask if he's a whippet or a grey. Unlike back in Breezer's youth when the strangest question asked was "is that his real coat?" (and that came from an adult!)
Bailey blasts out of a clump of bushes wearing a twig on his head.
Tiptoe through the tulips - not. He jumped into the clematis going after a mouse or vole.
Breezer and Masque team up to chase down their quarry.
Bailey poses among the wildflowers on a perfect summer evening in the park.
"Bring.....Food...."
Meaning will he play the chase game? Alas in this case, no.
Something caught Masque's attention on a fine evening that we wish we could have with her again.
Bailey shows his stuff - watching a whippet run always brightens up the day.
He's watching something off in the distance - odds are it's moving.
It's been warm and sunny, so Bailey's full speed tear-abouts have been limited. Here he's going for the gusto after I poured water on him to cool him off.
Breezer the Dog Food Gangsta
Bailey blasts down a dirt pathway as the sun begins to set.
